Who can see the reviews?

Chairs see everything. Authors see only the comments written for them, without reviewer names. Reviewers see their own reviews.

Do authors and reviewers need an account?

Yes, a free one. They create it from the submission link or the invitation email in a minute.

Is double-blind review supported?

Yes. Reviewers never see author names in SympoDesk, and authors are reminded to remove names from the PDF.

How does the reference check work?

References are read from the PDF and looked up in public scholarly databases. A flag is a prompt to look closer, not a verdict: new preprints, reports and local journals may be missing from the databases. The chair marks each flag.

Are Korean references checked?

Not yet — references in Korean journals (KCI) are on the roadmap. They are shown as not found today.

Where is our data stored?

In a managed PostgreSQL database and private file storage in the United States. Manuscripts are only opened through links that expire after a minute.

Can we export our data?

Yes. Submissions, reviews, the committee and the program download to Excel at any time.

Can we use it for a journal?

The current version is built for conferences. A journal mode with rolling submissions is planned.
